Day 31 - January 31

 

So, this is how I end January! I never, ever eat pancakes. I love them, I just can't make them. That's why you see the before shot...the after shot would have just been sad! LOL...they tasted good, but Lord they didn't look good!

Day 30 - January 30

 

We got an aweful lot of snow for a storm that was supposed to be insignificant for us!  We're snowed in.  Perfect for napping, as you can see!

I didn't even realize there was a wireless remote for my camera until I started Project 365.  So, once I found that out, I ordered one and this is the first time I tried it out!  What a concept!

Day 27 - January 27

This is one of 'my boys'. He was multi-tasking a little today....needed his math homework done, needed to do make up work in social studies, needed to be in related arts AND, of course, needed to listen to his music all at the same time. For some reason, I always seem to be the one who HAS to help him when he gets in panic mode.

Gotta love having a pet for Project 365...when you got nothing else, you can always get a pet shot!  And Bella is just so cooperative!

Day 25 - January 25

It's Me Monday...this is me, after working all day, going to the chiropractor, book club and coming home and thinking that I need to hurry up and take a picture of myself!

Baby Photo Shoot!  My shower gift for Traci was a newborn baby photo shoot.  Well, Tess is now 3 months old, so I'm a little late!  But the photos turned out good, so I'm happy!

Day 22 - January 22

Paper!  I teach classes at Almost Heaven Scrapbooking, one of my favorite places to be...not because of the contents of the store but for the people in the store!

Day 21 - January 21

I spent today in training for our Nspire handhelds....Jill has been our trainer for 2 years now and I just couldn't do a 365 with including her!

It was a sad day today...my friend Liz's baby girl passed away today.  So this photo is dedicated to her and Craig.

My Mom's Teacups - My mom had a collection of teacups that are now displayed in my home.  My dad brought her home a teacup when he went to Canada in the summer with 'the boys'.  This is one of several.

ZUMBA---join the party!  I started going to zumba about a year ago and it really has changed my life.  I feel like I'm a happier person...certainly a little healthier.  My first Zumba instructor, Becca, is pregnant, but still going strong!

Day 11 - January 11

We have been off school for so long, it seems....Christmas break, then snow days.  I was excited to see my 'kids', I picked all 4 of the shots because I couldn't decide on one.  It's Me Monday, so this is me, teacher me!

This is my scent pot....I keep it in my family room and like it so much better than candles or even the ports you plug in the wall.  Anyway, I liked the reflection from the blinds.

Cold morning, ice on roads hadn't thawed yet...what else to do?  Bake!

Day 8 - January 8

The day after the BIG storm...which turned out not as big as expected....thank goodness!  The plow scraped my street a few times and I was OUT!  I actually was just going to see the chiropractor, but I was so worried I was going to be homebound for 3 days!

I had a hard time deciding on a shot to use for my day 7.  I had several, but this one won out!

Day 5 - January 5

We had a snow day today.....it did not stop snowing the entire day.  My road never got scraped or treated...so I just wonder how I'll get my car up that hill on my street.  Anyway, I took out most of the color on this shot just for effect. 

Day 4 - January 4

I had a hard time today with a photo I was happy with.  Finally, I got something I liked...a nice hot mug of hot chocolate and marshmallows!  It's crazy cold out, so what is better that a hot cocoa?!

Day 3 - January 3

I once received a $50 gift certificate from the parents of a student as a thank you.  I had never received a thank you from a parent before, let alone a gift.  So I wanted to buy something that I would never buy for myself but had always wanted....the lava lamp. 

Day 2 -- January 2

See. I told you Bella would be featured more than once!  She was rolling around in the sun shining in the window and I snapped away.  I saw this one, the expression on her face and knew this was day 2.

Day 1 - January 1

This is my 'baby', Bella.  I had better introduce her.  I am sure she will featured more than once!  I was actually trying to get an action shot of her playing with one of her many toys.  She waiting under the table waiting for me to through her a toy to catch (yes, she plays catch!) when I took this shot!  I just thought the glowing eyes in the hardwood was way too cool!
