Just me, at the San Diego Convention Center!
This is the record of my Project 365-2010. I am taking a photo a day each day this year....I hope!

Day 109 - April 19
It was Step Up Day, we took the 8th graders to the high school to check things out. I was taking a pic of my good friend, a teacher at the high school, when, of course, one of my student's had to get in the shot!

Day 107 - April 17
Well, I'd like to say this was a well though out and planned photo. I'd like to say I planned to get a fresh set of nails today so I could get a day 107 photo...well, I did get a fresh set of nails. But in reality, this is an "I got nothing" photo!

Day 106 - Project 365
Man-Baby Shower!!! This is our school's resource officer---city policeman assigned to our school. He's new this year and eats lunch with the 8th grade teachers....he calls us his 'Circle'. His wife gave birth a few weeks ago...5 weeks early. He's been on maternity leave...with her. Anyway, we made him come in today for lunch and surprised him with a shower! BTW...when he was in the 8th grade I was a teacher in the school....he thinks I look just the same! Gotta love him!

Day 105 - April 15
I asked the young man holding the t-shirt if I could take his picture with the shirt and he agreed. He was with Damion when he was killed and I know he is struggling this week.

Day 103 - April 13
Today was a hard day at work. One of my 8th grade student's was shot and killed last night in front of his friends, also my students. What do you say to children when something like that happens? How do you tell them it will be OK? You look to this man. You have to have faith. Please pray for my school family. My kids and my co-workers are hurting tonight

Day 100 - April 10
They say it's your birthday, nananananana...it's my birthday too, yeah!! Samantha and I posing for our 2010 birthday portrait! Mine is the 10th and Samantha's is the 11th!!
Day 99 - April 9
These 2 lovely young ladies are my President and Vice-President of the National Jr. Honor Society. They wrapped $1,000 worth of coins recently for our Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser and I felt they deserved to go out to lunch...Wendy's. It's always fun to get out of school, even for a just a little bit!

Day 96 - April 6
I'm cheating a little. I took this photo on Easter Sunday at our state capital complex. But it's a very sad day in West Virginia. 25 miners were killed yesterday and 4 are still missing after an explosion in a Raleigh County mine. This is dedicated to the miners, their families and all the miners in West Virginia.

Day 95 - April 5
I'm a little embarrassed to post this one...my desk is a hot mess! But I spent this evening preparing for my Stamp Club .... cutting cardstock, getting all the supplies together and so on. It's so kind of Bella to keep me company while I work, don't you think?

Day 92 - April 2
Today was an in-service day, which meant no kids. Our VP brought his little girl with him. The science teacher showed her how to use the microscope and she just took it from there! If all our students were like her, our lives would be soooo easy!
