This is the record of my Project 365-2010. I am taking a photo a day each day this year....I hope!

Day 151 - May 31
Baby pictures! I shot Carrie and Grant's engagement pics, their wedding pics and now family pics! I love it! We met up at the capital and shortly after this shot the skies opened up and it poured the rain. We got soaked, but I managed to get a few good shots in!
Day 150 - May 30
The chicks are back....and they aren't very chickish! They have grown quite a bit. Is there a special name for teenage chicks?

Day 149 - May 29
This little guy is all tuckered out! He played all day and never had a nap, but finally couldn't keep his eyes open one more minute!

Day 148 - May 28
As I was loading groceries into my car at Kroger's I saw the beautiful clouds and sky...pays to always carry a camera!

Day 140 - May 20
Sick of the chicks yet? They are on a little hiatus from school for a while, so there will be a little chick break for about a week. They were getting too big and starting to fly a little, so one of the aids took them home until we make our "Chick Trip" in a few weeks. This is where we take the kids camping to deliver the chicks to an Amish family.

Day 136 - May 16
I'll bet I have driven past this old tracker for years and never noticed it. I think Project 365 has made more observant. If the grass ever gets cut, I'll try to get closer, it was mighty high. Anyway, it's not in the woods, it's sitting right in a field on a busy, main drag between a church and beauty shop!

Day 134 - May 15
Actually, yesterday came and went before I realized I never took a picture! Today...busy, too. But as I was sitting in my living room trying to think of something clever I thought of my ceiling fan at which I was vacantly staring! So I played around with F-stops a little!

Day 132 - May 12
You may be getting chick pix for a while!! This little guy has a story to tell. He just couldn't break through that shell to join his friends. So our science teacher broke it for him...but the other chicks just started pecking at him. So she took him home for the night and made a little incubator to keep him warm. She brought him back this morning and now he is just one of the gang!

Day 130 - May 10
The chicks are here!! When we arrived at school this morning several of our chicks had hatched over the weekend and were chirping away. Our little yellow chick hatched during our planning period and I was able to shoot each step. When I left this evening, he was fluffy and chirping just like the others. One more hatched during the day...and a couple should be hatched tonight!

Day 129 - May 9
If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,

Day 124 - May 4
My alma mater.....40 years ago today 4 students were killed and 9 others injured when the Ohio National Guard shot into a crowd of Vietnam War protesters. I was in the 8th grade, 14 years old...but remember it well. Kent State was not far from my home. I didn't go to college right out of high school, I attended from '78 to '81. I loved it there, I became a teacher there, I became an adult there, I met lifelong friends there. I will always remember the events of May 4.

It's time for the chicks! We'll be hearing the chirping of little chicks soon in the 8th grade hallway...stay tuned for more pictures as they hatch!
